When We Are Closed
With effect from 19th February 2013, if you require urgent medical assistance when we are closed please dial 111. Calls to NHS 111 are free from landlines and mobiles. If you have a life threatening emergency please dial 999.
Our telephone lines are closed from 6.30pm in the evening until 9.00am in the morning, and also at weekends
Wiltshire Medical Services provide telephone cover for us between 8.00am-9.00am in the morning and 1.00pm-2.00pm lunchtime. If you need medical assistance during these hours, please call 01249 454080
The Surgery is closed on a Thursday from 12 Noon- urgent medical assistance can be arranged via Dr Kings surgery in Burbage by calling 01672 810566.
NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call
NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
